I can trace my passion and enjoyment of photography to my early years. It wasn't until later in life that I became determined to be a wedding and portrait photographer. I'm self taught for the most part although I did a City & Guilds in Black & White Photography many moons ago. I also have a background in the corporate world and so I understand the importance of listening to clients and working with their ideas.
As well as weddings and portraits I have been commissioned to photograph pictures for websites, head shots & groups shots of people in organisations. Some of my pictures have been published in articles and brochures. I've photographed weddings at most of the local venues around Melton Mowbray, Brooksby, Oakham, Normanton Church Rutland, Loughborough and at various locations in Leicestershire & Lincolshire.
I've photographed many friends and family members over the years and recognise how precious those photos are. They are one of the main ways we evoke memories of loved ones present and past. Changes in technology have given us better tools to work with but it takes photographic skill to produce good quality photographs. That's something I do well and love doing!
